Hey there, Eric here again:) Just wanted to tell you that I am excited for these upcoming shows:
We will be headlining Tulsa Pride this year and I will be building a set for this show (!!) with Jimmy, and some friends of ours today. Have some big stuff in store for the night. Here is the poster:)
The band will be performing this coming month for Pride events in: Albuquerque (June 10th at the SOCH!), Oklahoma City (June 25th-Pride Block Party at The Boom!), and St. Louis Pride (June 27th). I will be appearing solo acoustic at Las Cruces for an event (with my good friend and talented songwriter, Namoli Brennet!) on June 18th and again with her at Tucson Pride’s H20 event on the 19th. I will also be performing at Emerald Coast Pride in Panama City Beach on June 26th! If you are around these next two weeks, I will also be headed through Louisville, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and New York City solo acoustic (check the tour page!).
July 2nd will also be a big day for this little band of ours because it is our first show where we perform an entire set of another musician’s songs. This show is titled: Eric and the Adams goes GAGA! We will perform the hits of GAGA with some big stage and musical surprises. DEFINITELY not the show to miss. One Night Only. Check out the poster we made for it:

See you soon and have a great summer!:)

Eric here, just about to head to bed. Haven’t written a blog on here in a bit so thought I would check in and say how great it was to play over at the Open Arms Youth Project this past Saturday. We had a blast!! They treated us well and with a little coercion, we had dancing!!! I even set-up my mic stand right on the dance floor for our versions of “Umbrella” and “You Gotta Be”. Afterwards, the band (and gals) went to see the new “A Nightmare on Elm Street”. It made us jump like crazy but didn’t find it super scary. (I will do a proper review on my blog at: www.erichiman.com).
This week, we are playing our first Cinco De Mayo party!! Yeah! So excited, never did one of those before. It will be in Tulsa at the popular Japanese restaurant (I know, Cinco de Mayo at a Japanese place) but it is outside in their parking lot and a tradition. Should be a great time! Then we rock Riverwalk Crossing in Jenks, OK this Saturday night! Hunt Club next week, then my solo acoustic shows heading east (Louisville, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Philly, NYC). Also, going to see the Broadway debut of my friend, Levi Kreis, in the Million Dollar Quartet. The Adams and I saw it when he was doing the show in Chicago now so happy to see him at the end of the month on Broadway. Here is an intro to the show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjbCpXhTS00.
Also, the recent Tulsa episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition that I took part in (sweeping, mopping, pretending to mulch for the cameras) will air next Sunday (May 9th)! Watch it on ABC at 7pm Central.
Ok, that is all I got right now, will be back soon!!
~Eric

Happy Earth Day!
Eric and the Adams celebrated this year’s event by performing in Tulsa, OK at the Enviro-Expo. We had a great time (Jimmy played Barefoot!) and we sang some songs in the sun. Then we ended up with some sunburned faces and toes! All for a great cause. Thanks to Heather for the pic.:).

What an awesome, nice day in Oklahoma!!! Gets me so excited to have the band play outside this Thursday at The Hunt Club in Tulsa (next to the Marquee on the new patio!). I performed outside in San Diego for my show at Bourbon Street last week (thanks for everyone who came out to my solo acoustic shows!) and it was so cool to look up with my guitar in hand and see the moon and stars. Check out the video:
This week, the Adams and I are playing in our hometown of Tulsa, OK and then swinging over to OKC for a Friday night show at Belle Isle Brewery in OKC, and then for our first big show in Stillwater, OK at Willie’s Saloon. If the weather stays like this, I am going to be very excited! For more details, check out the FB page on these gigs: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=100264116680255&ref=mf.
Time to mail off my newsletter for April (which you can join right on the site!) and then it is off to practices tonight. Hope we can practice outside!
Be good!
~Eric

This is my Neice, Amarie...and this face of hers is a perfection reflection of how I feel right now!
Hey Friends!! I haven’t been able to control my excitement. I had to jump on here and let it all out! Eric just returned home from a few shows down in Florida…a BIG thank you to everyone who came out to support him. He always has such great stories from you guys! I know he loves being out there with you guys but I am SO GLAD TO HAVE HIM BACK HERE WITH THE BAND!
Last night Eric played an acoustic show at one of our favorite haunts. It was nice for Jimmy and I to be able to sit out in the crowd and enjoy some music and watch Eric in all his acoustic glory. I’m still amazed at the way he handles that guitar.
NOW…why did I post that ridiculously cheese of a picture? BECAUSE THE LOOK ON HER FACE IS THE PERFECT DESCRIPTION OF HOW I FEEL ABOUT OUR UPCOMING TOUR DATES!!
I can’t wait to get on the road and see some of you again! Or meet some of you for the first time! We head out pretty soon to hit Albuquerque and Denver (Littleton). Eric has been working super hard to get us out there…and it’s paying off.
Summer is fast approaching and our schedule is filling up! If you want us to come out to your town or city, send us your suggestions and venues and we’ll try our hardest to get there. Thanks again SO MUCH for your support. Knowing you’re out there makes everything worth it!
Hope to see you soon,
Angel

I have to say thank you out there to everyone who has supported this band of mine!:) I can’t believe we’ve been playing together for two and half years and a year and half of that as Eric and the Adams. This past week, we had a great turnout at our first headlining Cain’s Ballroom show! Even at our wintery-weathered Stillwater showcase for the Arkansas-based Wakarusa Festival we had a great crowd. I think we are really lucky to have this kind of support and just wanted to say thank you for coming out and getting the new CD/shirts:).
We have so much in store for this year with planning the big “Frozen In The Sun” Cruise (details in the last blog post), performing during the big music industry networking event, SXSW, in Austin next month, and new gigs in different cities for us (Denver and Albuquerque!).
Much love to you and see you soon!
~Eric
